Vintage Suzuki Motocross Motorcycles
Suzuki started manufacturing motorcycles in 1952. During the 1950s, 1960s and the 1970s, they manufactured motorcycles with two-stroke engines only. It was not until 1976 when Suzuki introduced its first motorcycle with a four-stroke engine, the GS400 and GS750.
Joel Robert was Suzuki's first Motocross World Champion in 1970 winning the 250cc class. Suzuki then introduced and started the production of motocross bikes. The TM 400R was manufactured in 1971 with the TM series consisting of the TM 75, TM 100, TM 125, TM 250 and the TM 400. These early Suzuki Motocross Bikes are now Classic Collectors Vintage Bikes and extremely competitive in the pre-1974 classic dirt races.
The RM-Series Model is a two-stroke motocross motorcycle introduced in 1975 with the RM 125M. In 1976 the RM 125A, RM 250A and the RM 370A models followed. The production of the RM-Series was replaced by the 2009 models because of the popularity of four-stroke engines in modern motocross racing.
