Walter Preisig
The Suspension Shop is located in Adelaide, South Australia, and was established by Walter Preisig to service the market in Australia with a new generation of YSS gas shocks that are continuously under development by him in partnership with YSS in Thailand.
Walter has been developing racing suspension for over 25 years, gaining a wealth of experience in suspension technics, customer service and motorcycle maintenance.
YSS uses only quality materials and the latest wizardry in suspension technology to manufacture the world class YSS gas shock absorbers, maintaining quality control during the research stage, planning phase and the manufacturing process.

Philosophy
“ It's unwise paying too much, but worse paying too little. By paying too much, you lose a little money. By paying too little, you could lose everything, because what you've bought would be incapable of doing what it was bought for. The law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it's wise to add a bit for the risk you run and if you do that, you can pay for something better. "
That said and with this in mind, the Suspension Shop is servicing the motorcycle community in Australia and overseas as well as furthering the research, manufacture and development of top quality world class shock absorbers for racing purposes and casual driving without breaking the bank.

Vintage Motocross at Conondale Green Park Race Track
Conondale MX Championships
Vintage motocross returned to the Sunshine Coast on August 7th, 8th and 9th 2009 with the 2009 Australian Classic Motocross Championship hosted at Conondale's Green Park on the Maleny Kenilworth Road in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
The championship was the biggest meet in its history and saw more than 200 riders pit their best against each other on over 350 bikes manufactured before 1984. The championship meeting had attracted interest from some of the best motocross riders from past generations and spectators got to see some of the best vintage racing ever.
A number of different categories participated in three rounds of racing on the 2.8km natural terrain track with most of it laid out on a green site. Green Park is just 10 minutes west of Maleny - Home to major meetings such as the Queensland and Australian MX Titles, Enduros and 10 years of the Thumper Nats. Green Park is known as one of the best grass tracks in the country and also hosted the 2004 Australian Evolution Motocross Championship and more recently The MX Nationals 2006, 2007 and 2008 and the Conondale Classic.
Vintage Sidecars and motorcycles competed on Greeves, BSA, CZ, Maico, Triumph, CCM, Montessa, Bultaco, Jawa, KTM, SWM, Husqvana, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki and other bikes. A nice meet!
